HOPE, Roc Solid Support and a Lil Bag

The Jpixx crew got a chance to work with the Roc Solid Foundation again through Rubin Communiations, this time promoting their Roc Solid Ready Bags.

Pediatric cancer not only affects the child diagnosed, it affects the family members too in a major way. The Roc Solid Ready Bag contains a wealth of items a family may need during an unexpected hospital stay. From toiletries, pens, journals, preloaded debit cards to something as simple as quarters for vending machines; the Roc Solid Foundation provides a small yet, kind gesture through this bag that reminds families they are not alone in this journey.

The day consisted of photographing a family of 5 whose youngest, 2-year old Lauren, was diagnosed with Leukemia. The support and love this family had for one another and little Lauren was so evident and their resilience as a family radiated the room the moment they walked in.  Although Lauren has pediatric cancer, she didn’t skip a beat on set. She played, smiled, laughed, and even colored (thanks Victoria for the coloring books and toys).
