Jpixx recently had the honor of participating in Channel 757‘s second annual Project Hot Potato competition and collaboration, where four teams each created a separate segment of the same film. Each team is given certain criteria and allowed to view only the previous team’s segment. Among other complex rules, each segment this year was required to have three constants: A con-artist (the main character), escalation (the project theme), and a manuscript (the hot potato/prop).
As team 4 and with a one-week deadline (and lots of missed sleep), Jpixx created “Destined, the fourth and final segment of the collaboration. Below is a shot of our cast & crew at our after party private screening.
Project Hot Potato screened locally Saturday, January 18th where the talented Vera Yatsula (pictured above), from Jpixx’s Destined segment, accepted the “Most Valuable Actor” Award. Below is a photo of all the Hot Potato nominees.
