Several people suggested that Jpixx take a stab at the Canon “Project Imaginat10n” contest – so we teamed up with Erman Baradi to write “WILLPower”, the story of a young boy isolated from his friends and family until he can learn to control his emotion-heightened episodes. The process of coming up with the story is unique, because it is inspired by 1o photos that we selected from a pool of 100 canon photo contest winners.
The bulk of the film was shot in one day, then edited the next – with the submission due the following morning. As you can imagine, the submitted film was far from polished, so a director’s cut is already in the works and should be released by September.
The contest is founded by Ron Howard and stars such directors as Jamie Foxx and Eva Longoria and Bryce Howard. Check out the entire contest website here.
