Meet The Crew: Eliana Moitinho

When did you know that you wanted to pursue career marketing and media creation?

I’ve always been interested in a creative career. I remember my first dream job when I was younger was to be a fashion designer. From there I took art classes all growing up and ended up doing photography for a little while too. I became interested in brand and product design, meanwhile also having a passion for writing and social media. Pairing those interests together, marketing and media creation seemed like the best career fit for me and I have loved working in it ever since!

What do you love the most about marketing?

I love to write so I would say creating a brand story. Finding a brand’s voice is crucial to an overall successful marketing campaign, so I really enjoy being a part of that initial process!

What excites you the most about working at Jpixx?

Capturing BTS at all the cool shoots! I really enjoy being on set with my other team members and meeting all of our great clients. I also just like being nosey and getting a glimpse into all the different industries like education and the medical field, it’s so fascinating!

What other hobbies or past times are you interested in?

When it’s nice out I love going to the beach (I’m there basically every day during the summer). I also love hiking and finding new trails to explore. Being from Central Virginia, I was close to all the pretty hikes in Blue Ridge and Shenandoah, and the Southeast region. I also love reading and when I can read a good book on the beach, I’m happy. I also love trying new recipes and going out and eating new types of foods with my friends.

What is your favorite place you’ve ever visited? 

That’s a hard question! I love to travel and would love to do more each year. The top place that comes to mind would have to be Lisbon, Portugal. Being Brazilian, I loved getting to visit another country that shares the Portuguese language. I spent a week there with my friends last September and we had a blast trying the amazing food, seeing the beautiful nature and beaches, discovering fresh markets, and getting lost in the city.

Do you have any passion projects that you would like to achieve?

I wouldn’t call it a project necessarily, but one of my goals has always been to keep learning more languages. I have always wanted to be fluent in Italian so I am making it my mission to keep learning it before I take a trip there one day. I would also love to get back into photography and start doing portraits!

Do you have any inspiration creatively or in life?

I find inspiration through the places I visit, but mainly through music! Music is a huge part of my life and I’m always one to make a new Spotify playlist at any chance I get. I enjoy basically all genres of music and it really helps me look back at my life in parts based on the kinds of artists I was into at the time.

What do you think you would bring to the Jpixx team?

My passion for writing is definitely something that I bring to the table! I also feel like I am pretty creative, and I love bouncing ideas around with the rest of the team!
