Meet Our 2025 Interns: Megan & Travis

At Jpixx, we’re always excited to welcome fresh talent into our creative family!! This year, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on our 2025 interns: Megan, an animation and motion design creative, and Travis, a video production and storytelling pro in the making. As our Account Producer Intern and Post-Production Intern, they’ve stepped into their roles and are absolutely crushing it. 🎥💥

We asked them a few questions to get to know them better, and their answers were as fun and insightful as you might expect!

Megan – Account Producer & Animation Intern 🎨

What inspired you to get into animation?
“I’ve always loved animated cutscenes in my favorite video games. They’re full of life, movement, and really nail the storytelling moments. Playing the Kingdom Hearts series in high school sealed the deal for me—it’s when I knew I wanted to pursue animation!” 🐭

Why Jpixx?
“The atmosphere! Talking with the team and seeing how Jpixx presents itself online showed me that they genuinely care about their work and each other. I was looking for a place where I could learn a ton while feeling comfortable asking questions.” ✨

How has your internship influenced your creative approach?
“Seeing the full process behind a live-action shoot has taught me the importance of organization and communication across any creative project. These are skills I’ll carry with me for life.” 📎

Dream project?
“I’d love to work with Sony Animation. Their dedication to supporting animators and artists is inspiring, and they consistently deliver the best possible work while involving amazing creatives.” 🐛

Fun fact:
“If I could live in any animated universe, it’d be The Owl House! I’m a big fan of magic, and I like to think I could figure out the system to my advantage.” 🦉

Travis – Post-Production & Editing Intern 🖥️

What got you into filmmaking?
“Movies and TV shaped my childhood. My first theater experience was Rugrats in Paris, and shows on Nickelodeon in the late ’90s just made me happy. That joy made me want to create stories that give others the same feeling.” 🛹

A defining moment in filmmaking?
“At Virginia State University, I took an Intro to Media Technology class. Our final project was a short film, and my team won! I loved every step, but editing was my favorite—it showed me that storytelling really comes alive in the cut.” 🎥

Why Jpixx?
“I wanted hands-on experience with one of the best video production companies around. I’m excited to sharpen my skills, especially in color grading, and learn from talented professionals.” 🎨

Dream project?
“Editing a Jordan commercial for Jalen Hurts—I think combining his energy with old-school music would make for an amazing concept. On the film side, I’d love to make a comedy or even a music video—rhythm is key to my editing style.” 🏀

Current inspiration:
“I keep rewatching The Hateful Eight. It’s the whodunit mystery vibe that keeps pulling me back in—I can’t even explain why!” 🤔
