Lights, Camera, Harborfest 2025! Jpixx Goes All In at Norfolk’s Biggest Party ⚓️

Harborfest 2025 was one for the books — and Jpixx was right in the middle of it all as the official media sponsor.

From the crackling fireworks to the nautical flair of the Parade of Sail, Jpixx captured the heart (and hype) of one of the region’s biggest summer events. And when we say we covered it all, we mean it. With Sail250 Virginia on the horizon for next year, the 10th year Harborfest felt like the perfect warm-up for the incredible celebrations still to come.

Wall-to-Wall Coverage, Jpixx Style 📸

We had boots on the ground and lenses in the air, filming every band on the Main Stage and Boathouse Stage, as well as food trucks, arcade games, and all the crowd energy pulsing through Town Point Park. We even had crew member Savannah on a boat adventure to capture drone footage! You might’ve even spotted us livestreaming our Kiss Cam and Dance Cam directly to the Jumbotron.

Behind the camera was our signature blue crew — the Jpixx media team decked out in our branded shirts, camera gear in hand, and creative energy to match the festival’s vibes.

Bubble-Fueled Booth Party 🫧

Situated right next to the Main Stage, the Jpixx Tent became a hub of fun! Our team passed out candy, stickers, and our signature “Eye” tattoos. We also decked out our spot with bubble toys, and we ran our first-ever Dispo Drop photo booth.

What’s a Dispo Drop, you ask? It’s a Jpixx-exclusive photo experience that uses an old disposable camera lens attached to a modern DSLR, giving every shot that nostalgic, grainy, “party pic” look. Add in the Harborfest backdrop and bubbles floating through the air, and you’ve got something magical!

Real-Time Storytelling 🎥

Our crew didn’t just show up to document Harborfest — we were part of the energy! After Day 1, we hustled and pulled together a fresh, hype-filled video edit packed with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the day. The bands, the food, the big smiles, the bubble fun — all the good stuff. We posted it that same night, and the buzz? It spread. People saw what they were missing and showed up in full force for Day 2.

Whether it was the drone show lighting up the sky, the yo-yo pros spinning tricks, the Tall Ships gliding by, or the boat demos making waves, we made sure every Harborfest moment got its time to shine.
