Pediatric cancer not only affects the child diagnosed, it affects the family members too in a major way. The Roc Solid Ready Bag contains a wealth of items a family may need during an unexpected hospital stay. From toiletries, pens, journals, preloaded debit cards to something as simple as quarters for vending machines; the Roc Solid Foundation provides a small yet, kind gesture through this bag that reminds families they are not alone in this journey.
The day consisted of photographing a family of 5 whose youngest, 2-year old Lauren, was diagnosed with Leukemia. The support and love this family had for one another and little Lauren was so evident and their resilience as a family radiated the room the moment they walked in. Although Lauren has pediatric cancer, she didn’t skip a beat on set. She played, smiled, laughed, and even colored (thanks Victoria for the coloring books and toys).
Here are some behind-the-scenes photos taken on set and keep scrollin’ to the bottom for the moving Roc Solid Ready Bag video 🙂
If the light shining through isn’t an embodiment of hope, I don’t know what is.

Chandler just got his hair done and his makeup touched up by the incredible Victoria (our makeup artist)! Just add a little more contouring and he’ll be all set lol
And the setup is complete…let’s shoot!
